The Andover foodbank recently launched a new way of supporting its work with local people in need. The scheme offers companies, schools, groups and individuals the opportunity to sponsor a shelf in the foodbank’s warehouse. The foodbank has 72 ‘shelves’ available to sponsor and each shelf costs £10 per month. Sponsors will receive a certificate with details of their selected shelf or shelves and regular updates from the foodbank on its work to support local people in crisis.
Simplyhealth is the first local company to take part in the scheme. They have generously sponsored eight fish, rice and vegetable shelves for one year.
