In the run-up to the 10k Lake Run, the Andover foodbank have joined forces with the Andover Advertiser to encourage Andover based companies to sign up for the race.
The competition, named the Andover Advertiser Fittest Company Cup, costs £100 per team and includes spaces for up to 10 runners. The winner of the competition will be based on the time of the company’s fifth place finisher. The names can be finalised nearer the event but to guarantee starting positions and race numbers for your company runners please register now. There will be a limit on the total number of companies able to enter.
Vice chair of Andover foodbank, Jules Pertwee, said: “Keeping fit should be a way of life helping mind, body and soul. Businesses can take an active part in keeping their employees and teams fit by encouraging activity. What better goal than becoming the fittest local company, walk or run the 10k as a company team in aid of Andover foodbank on their 10th anniversary and do a great service to yourselves as well as helping a great charity celebrate their 10th anniversary.”
