Jenny LeLean the current Foodbank Manager will soon leave her Foodbank role, to become Head of Caritas for the Diocese of Portsmouth. This is a wonderful opportunity for Jenny and the foodbank thanks her for her huge contribution to Andover foodbank’s success. Jenny’s move has given us the opportunity to review our staffing structure, particularly given the increased needs for our services.
We’ve decided to restructure and recruit to two new roles: Head of Andover Foodbank and Volunteer Manager in addition to the current Warehouse Manager. We would like to continue with the ambitious plans which Jenny has helped to develop, to extend the foodbank’s support to clients through new initiatives and collaboration with other agencies.
We are looking for energetic, self-motivated, and resourceful individuals for the two roles. Both are demanding but rewarding posts which offer the opportunity to be part of a local charitable operation with significant social impact. In taking up the roles you will be making an important contribution to your community and helping local people.
The new Head of Andover Foodbank will lead the project, setting and delivering the vision and strategy. This is a part time role of 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday based around the opening hours of 9:00-13:00, £16 to £18 per hour. Flexibility in hours is required. You will need to undertake a DBS check.

The Volunteer Manager will concentrate on volunteers and engagement with schools and local organisations, introducing events for volunteers and creating workshops, work experience and engagement with children and young people. The position is part-time, 12 hours per week, Monday to Friday within the opening hours of 9:00-13:00, £12.50 to £13.50 per hour. Flexibility in hours is required. You will need to undertake a DBS check.
