Eggscellent Easter!

16th April 2019

The foodbank has now delivered more than 1150 chocolate eggs to local agencies including the Crisis Centre, Children’s Services, and Young Carers and more will go out this week. The eggs will be distributed to local children and vulnerable adults. Eggs were donated by a range of organisations including Farleigh School, Hatherden School, Portway School and Magic Tower Nursery School, Muddy Runners and Dawnbreakers, local Churches, and individuals. The Easter egg project is not just about giving a treat, it is about engaging with people in need within our local community, showing that we care and sharing the Easter message with them. Thank you to everyone who donated – have a very Happy Easter!
