Christmas 2026 at Andover Foodbank

This Christmas, Andover Foodbank needs your help to support people in our community who cannot afford the essentials. With your donations, we can provide children’s Gift Boxes and Christmas Hampers, helping individuals and families celebrate Christmas rather than simply exist through it.

As we prepare for Christmas 2026, we are once again asking our local community to get involved. Whether you donate a Gift Box, put together a Hamper or make a financial donation, your support will make a real difference to local families this Christmas.

How it works

• Gift boxes and Hampers reach those already identified as needing emergency food or financial support this year.
• Gift boxes and Hampers are distributed to individuals and families supported by local schools and agencies across Andover and surrounding villages
• Every family supported this Christmas will also be encouraged to meet with our Citizens Advice caseworker, who can help maximise income, review debts and identify other support.

How you can help

1. Donate a Gift box – fill a shoe box with gifts for a child – you can find the instructions and more information on our Gift boxes flier.
2. Donate a Hamper – complete our ‘12 Days to Christmas’ collection list.  You can find a list and more information on our 12 Days of Christmas flier.  Add one item a day for 12 days or shop in one go to create a full Hamper. Follow 12 Days to Christmas on Facebook or Instagram for updates.
3. Give financially
   1. £20 helps us create an exciting Gift box for a child
   2. £30 helps us make up a Hamper of festive treats
   3. Donate securely online

Gift boxes must be delivered by Friday 13 November 2026.

Hampers must be delivered by Sunday 22 November 2026.

Together, with your generosity and our volunteers, we can make Christmas brighter for local families.
