The new Test Valley Mayor Cllr Carl Borg-Neal has announced that he will run on 17 September 2017 in the second Lake Run and he will distribute prizes. In addition, Darnell Hathaway will be running. Darnell was recently featured in the Andover Advertiser and has described how running has improved his physical and mental health. Darnell said 'I’m pleased to have the opportunity to take part in the Andover Food bank 10k at a time when reliance on the service Food Banks provide is increasing across the UK with even Nurses and Police Officers having to rely on them, I feel it’s a great cause that gives a much needed service to the local community'.
