Andover Foodbank vouchers

The Andover Foodbank works using a voucher referral system. Find out more about why you need a voucher.

The voucher system ensures you’ll get the right help.

We know that anyone can find themselves at crisis point for a number of different reasons.  If a care worker at one of the agencies that work with the Andover Foodbank feels you are struggling to put food on the table, they will issue you with an Andover Foodbank voucher.  The agency which provides you with the voucher will be able to understand your individual needs and assist with longer-term support.

When you talk to an agency they will take some basic details from you to complete the voucher.   This will help them to identify the cause of your crisis and offer practical guidance. It also means that you will receive suitable emergency food for the right number of people.

Once you have been issued with a voucher, you can exchange this for a minimum of three days of food at your nearest Andover Foodbank distribution centre.  At the Andover Foodbank, volunteers will use your voucher to check the number of adults and children the food parcel needs to support, the ages of children, and any special dietary requirements you may have.

If you are a referral agency and would like to become a registered voucher holder for the Andover Foodbank, please contact us to find out more.
